After being honored at the Miami in Concert Against Hate on March 5th, the following Sunday morning Robert Gant attended a Breakfast at the Betsy South Beach Hotel.
The event was hosted by the Anti-Defamation League and the Unity Coalition, a South Florida Hispanic LGBT organization, and had Robert talking to the attendees and to Steve Rothaus, for the Miami Herald, about the problems the LGBT community faces with aging.

Last night Robert Gant was honored at the Miami in Concert Against Hate by the Anti-Defamation League for his constant work portraying relevant LGBT issues and spending his time off-screen raising awareness about aging in the LGBT community.

A month ago Robert Gant announced on his social media that he was going to be honored at the Miami in Concert Against Hate on March 5th (you can read more HERE ).
A few hours ago Robert wrote on his Twitter/Instagram "En route to Miami Beach", as he's going to Miami for tomorrow night's event.


Congratulations Robert, you totally deserve this great honor!

Robert Gant has always taken a stand against hate, homophobia and discrimination and on March 5th, 2016 he'll be honored for his constant work for the LGBT people during a musical benefit event called Miami in Concert Against Hate , organized by the Anti-Defamation League
The motivation for this public acknowledgement is "Acclaimed actor who puts artistic emphasis on portraying relevant LGBT issues, Robert spends his time off-screen raising awareness about aging in the LGBT community", as stated on the event's page .

Robert posted the news on his Instagram with the simple statement: "I'm honored to be a part of this special event".
