Some time ago we saw some photos of artists, such as actors, singers, painters and designers, on Egale Canada Human Rights Trust's official facebook page, and Bryn Hendricks, Communication Manager for the Organization, only told us to wait until 12th of March to find out...
Now we know: the Organization, which is highly involved in helping LGBTQ2S young people, presented "Out at night", a national fundraising and awareness campaign, to help kids who have been kicked out after coming out as gay, lesbian, transgender, bisexual, etc. In a series of videos several artists speak up about the dangers of living in the streets and invite people to join them, sleeping outside on the night of May 30th.
Hal Sparks is one of the "Night Ambassadors", appearing in a photo on Out at night's website while wearing the campaign-logo black shirt
There is a controversial position between the Actors’ Equity, the national union for stage actors, and the Los Angeles County’s small theatres community. Apparently the Actors’ Equity proposed a minimum wage for the stage actors which would be unsuitable for small theatres.
Our Scott, who is a member of the Actors’ Equity, decided to take a stand against the Union’s decision and joined the Ilove99 campaign to save small theatres.
We have some photos and a video of the supporting group of people and Scott is among them!
The pics were posted on Sharon Lawrence, Frances Fisher, Daniel Henning and The Blank Theatre's Twitter:
You can also see a glimpse of Scott on the left side of the screen:
A week ago Scott was at the Fox5News’ studios for a friendly chat with anchorman Antwan Lewis, during his “Good Day Street Talk” show, and talked about theatre, The Elephant Man and Queer as Folk.
Today he shared on his Twitter a link to the video from his interview with Antwan :
