Things between Melanie and Lindsay are getting worse and worse everyday as Mel cannot forgive her for cheating on her. On the other hand, Lindsay cannot put up with her wife's anger anymore and feels it is now time to draw a line. Brian's advice is by no mean reassuring, but we all know him, at least he is honest.
Carl wants to propose to Debbie after asking her son for her hand. Mikey has only one request: he will have to be good to her. The most difficult part now is to have one moment to talk to her in peace as she is so busy preparing all the necessary stuff for the ride.
It is time for Teddy to pay his friend back the money he lent him when he was an addict. Emmett is really moved and grateful at the same time. He wants to persuade Ted to take part in the Liberty Ride but his friend fears that he would have to face too many temptations.
Debbie and the guys are having a blast in Toronto, which reminds them of Pittsburgh somehow. Brian will join them for a drink and Michael tells him about Ben's proposal; he cannot conceal how much he is excited and scared at the same time. Kinney's opinions about gay marriage have not changed, whereas his old friend is convinced that LGTB community must have the same rights as straight people do. Despite what Brian says, his answer to Ben is yes.
