Kinney is having nightmares during his therapy, where Vic is being a sadist to him. Justin is worried about his other half as he does not return his calls and doesn't reply to his messages. In fact, Brian will kick him off his office when he finds him there waiting for him. Sunshine is going to be furious with Mikey because he told Brian that they both know his "secret". Eventually, Michael will try to convince Justin to insist on staying with his partner.

Ben's going through a tough time as nobody seems to be interested in his novels, while one of his students shows his appreciation ...

Debbie keeps regretting not making up with Vic before he died. She pays him a visit at the cemetery to let him know how much she loves him despite what happened. She decides to follow Emmett's advice and contact Carl again. However, things seemed to have changed in the policeman's life as he's been seeing someone new.

Emmett needs help with a party for Drew and Sierra and he asks the performer Shanda, who happens to be an excellent cook as well. Surprisingly, Honeycut is going to teach Drew a lesson, but the real surprise will come for Emmett at Drew's when his fiancée is not at home...

Brian's level of attention and performance at work is obviously lower than it used to be and he will have to tell Schmidt about his secret. The guy is going to cover for his manager on the "Lube" presentation in front of a curious audience. He will need to use all his potential to make an impression. Is he going to succeed?

Lindsay's portrait of Sam is very much appreciated by the artist, who shows all his excitement to the girl.
