Justin suspects that Ethan has slept with the young admirer he left with after the concert, but Ethan reassures him that nothing happened and that he is the only guy he loves. When that guy knocks at their door with a bunch of roses, the violinist's hypocritical promises and romance inevitably crumble. Justin is full of rage.

Debbie meets Rodney, her brother's new partner and invites the family for a proper welcome dinner. When Rodney explains he is also HIV positive and how it makes his relationship easier, Michael's frustration and sense of "exclusion" from a world he doesn't belong to seems to become unbearable. Besides, Ben doesn't help at all and his partner considers the idea of getting infected. Luckily, things change for the better before it is too late.

Melanie defends Ted in court, but the case turns out to be problematic: Stockwell wants a hard sentence for him in order to provide a good example for his determination to clean up Liberty Avenue. Brian seems to be the only one who can help Schmidt and Emmet will convince him. However, in order to avoid jail, Ted has to plead guilty.

Lin d s ey and Melanie's dream will come true. This time the baby is on its way. At the Babylon, after toasting to Mikey's paternity, Brian sees Justin having sex with a guy in the backroom.
