While all the people enjoy the party to celebrate Rage at the Babylon, Justin leaves with Ethan. Michael lets Ben, Lindsey and Melanie know that Brian and Justin have broken up; this time is different because Justin is seeing someone else. Michael, worried about Brian, wants to talk to him but he fails. Brian vanishes with his Jeep without saying goodbye to anyone.

When Justin wakes up in Ethan's bed, he's playing the violin for him and surprises him with a rose and some dark chocolate. Later on Justin goes to Brian's loft to collect his stuff; Ethan is concerned because Brian might be there too. Justin reassures him that he doesn't care about his ex anymore.

Michael's frustration and anxiety get worse as he has not heard from his friend since the night before. He tries in vain to get in touch with him.

When Justin is alone at the loft, Brian seems to be there too. Every single piece of that place has something to tell about their relationship and he sees thousands of magic moments, frame by frame.

Melanie and Lindsey decide to throw a party to celebrate their eighth anniversary. At the Liberty Diner the two girls hand the invitations to Ted, Emmett, Michael and Debbie, but don't know what to do with Justin and Brian's. While they are still talking about what happened, Brian takes a seat next to their table and overhears their unpleasant comments.

While Brian is telling Michael he's doing perfectly fine, Justin gets into the restaurant to start his shift. The silence between the guys is embarrassing.

Michael doesn't miss the opportunity to accuse Justin of being ungrateful to Brian and yells out after him he should disappear. Justin's reaction is not that positive as he says that Michael has never wanted him around in the first place and that now he is no longer standing in his way. Sunshine eventually decides to quit his job at the Diner.

Everything seems to work fine for Emmet and Ted, except for sex. They haven't had their first time yet, although they tell all their friends that they have. They are nervous and unable to let themselves go for fear of ruining their friendship in case it doesn't work.

After deciding to cancel his trip to Tibet, Ben accepts to move into Michael's flat.

Meanwhile, Brian sees that Justin has already collected his things. Later on during a walk in the park, Lindsey reproaches him for not even trying to hold him back; it is not too late though, Lindsey thinks, if he tells him that he loves him. Brian replies he doesn't love Justin, and if he did he would never ask him to do something he doesn't want to only to please himself. In other words, he would push him to find his happiness somewhere else.

Debbie is upset because Justin has left without even saying goodbye; Michael tells her about his row with Sunshine and that he clearly asked him to leave. Debbie loses her temper as she thinks her son did not have any right to interfere. Besides, Brian deserves what he is going through because he doesn't love anyone. Maybe ...

Justin pops in at Mel and Lindsey's with a bottle of wine and lets them know that he won't be at the party, considering the circumstances. The couple make him change his mind by showing their usual affection and friendship and asking him to bring Ethan as well.

Ben and Michael's first night together in the flat is suddenly interrupted by Brian, who asks Mikey to spend the night with him at the Babylon. Ben persuades Michael to go as Brian really needs a friend after what happened to him.

At Mel and Lindsey's party, Justin introduces Ethan to all his best friends, including Debbie. After getting bored in a bar, Brian unexpectedly arrives at the party. He bumps into Justin at the toilet. He is not angry with him and tells him he hopes he will find what he is looking for.

Michael's anger towards Justin, especially for bringing Ethan, is getting out of control. He starts annoying and nagging at Brian, reproaching Sunshine for "being such a selfish person" and for "using Brian without giving anything in return". According to him, Brian should have let him die that night after the Prom. That is too much to Brian, who eventually punches his friend in front of everybody and is immediately kicked off.

Ted and Emmett finally manage to have their first night together.

The day after, as an attempt to make it up, Brian pops in at Michael's shop and brings a steak to heal his bruise; Michael admits he actually got what he deserved after what he said at the party. Brian persuades him to carry on working on Rage with Justin.

That night a blond guy knocks at Brian's door. He looks like Justin. Brian gives him 300 dollars to have sex with him.
